This is my design mantra for today. Having done a completely non-academic review of successful people, I have noticed that they have one particular trait in common: They finish what they start. It doesn't matter if their idea is half-baked. Or stupid. Or misdirected. That works itself out later. Just finishing gives an action credibility.
I'm a starter. Ideation. New ideas. Sparks flying. It's exhilerating! What I don't do well is finish. The creative juice wears off eventually, or it gets tough, or it's not what I want it to be and I find myself drawn away..."ooh! shiny colors!" and I'm off.
